B. Interpretative
Recount
High
school senior Solomon white(Randall Bentley,”Heroes”) seemingly has everything

But things aren’t always as they appear.
when a devastating head injury flip his vision and his world-upside down, Soli is left not knowing what normal looks like anymore.
when a devastating head injury flip his vision and his world-upside down, Soli is left not knowing what normal looks like anymore.
Upside provides is unique perspective as Soli tries to come to
grips with difficulties at home and at school. And the challenges grow deeper
when he starts falling for Wren, a believer who’s been blind since birth.
When facing life’s twist and turns, it’s important to know what
you believe. And even when you can’t trust your eyes, you still have your
voice.
C. Evaluation
UPSIDE is a unique, entertaining, inspiring movie.
His life is on a fast track, so Solomon cheats on his English papers. When he
gets hit on the lacrosse field, his vision literally turns upside down. After
the accident, Solomon spends a long time in the hospital and is in constant
pain. He goes to a meeting of VISION at a church, which is a support group for
visually impaired people. The totally blind girl who speaks, Wren, captures
Solomon’s heart and mind. The problem is, she’s a very committed Christian. So
is his English teacher, who tries to help Solomon find his voice. Only a
miracle can turn his vision physically and spiritually rightside up.
It was so fun to be
able to watch a movie that the whole family enjoyed without any objectionable
content. Our nine year-old boy, who plays lacrosse, enjoyed the sports-action
segments and my wife and thirteen year-old daughter, enjoyed the romantic
elements. It’s a classic movie and fantastic sound-track, on par with
“Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants.”
